June 2014

Our June is off to a great start with two days in the eighties and sunshine. Man we waited a long time to complain about all this heat! The critters seem to be enjoying it as well and we spotted both a mature buck and our first fawn of this season this evening. We had a meeting in at the lodge earlier and were giving a tour when Dan spotted our first fawn. I am sure that there are others but this active one was already to follow mom across the food plot.

You can also see my handy work from this past weekend when we were able to get all of the food plots mowed again. Hopefully we will get about an inch of rain tonight and get everything growing.
