Peak Rut 2016

As the Super Moon (Closest since 1948) of November is coming tonight so is the peak of our 2016 rut over the next week here in NE Ohio! The trophy bucks are chasing hard now and the best deer hunting in Ohio could be over the next couple of weeks. The weather is going to be above normal this week but it should allow for longer time on stand while you enjoy the mild fall season.

We have a great group of trophy bucks remaining this fall and it should make for an exciting finish to our season as we move closer to the end of 2016. By the end of November the deer will be getting back to a more normal pattern and there should be a bit of relief for the does at least until secondary rut fires up in late December.
