Like the Cleveland Indians we were swinging for the fences the last two weeks and man what a show. We made some new friends and spent time with some old friends. We all had good experiences and the trophy bucks they took were all very impressive! Our weather was more in line with a baseball game than whitetail hunts in Ohio but we managed to stay ahead of the processing and it all worked out. We had two nights where we brought in two trophy bucks and it created quite a scene with everyone pitching in to get them cooled down for the night!
This weather next week looks a little better for hunting and I think the full moon is behind us as well. The bucks in Ohio were just starting to respond to the grunt call last week and the scrapes are increasing in size every day. I would expect that the rattling antlers will cool down now but the grunt calls should get better thru the next two week. We still have a great looking group of trophy bucks and plenty of choice dates are open if you are looking for the experience of a lifetime give me a call!
