300" Club

This week has been fantastic in many ways. Our weather could not be better for deer hunting and add that to the rutted up mature bucks! These two factors helped us to add another trophy buck to the 300” Club! Rich was back again this week with his Ten Point crossbow and took a heavy 303” buck with a perfect 30 yard shot! There are now scrapes located in many central locations and the bucks are also responding to the grunt calls. The mature buck Rich took came in checking a younger doe. It is an exciting time of year to be in the woods!

As the end of October gets closer it will only continue to get better for hunting. The peak for the actual breeding season will be in just 2-3 weeks. Now is the time to spend as much time in the woods as possible. You never know when a new buck may come into your area or that mature buck you have been hunting may make a mistake!
