As we approach the Memorial Day weekend and the kick off of the summer season remember our veterans and all of their sacrifices. If they had not served our country we would not enjoy the freedoms that we pursue every day. Thank you!

The food plots have all been cut for the first round, the temperatures are finally on the warmer side for more than a few hours, and that means there’s only one thing to think about…..ANTLERS! The bucks change every day now and some of the younger bucks are already pushing the T-3’s. The mature bucks are always slower to show their potential because of the massive bases they need to develop first. I have spotted one great buck from a distance that is already showing a drop tine and that makes for some exciting expectations this summer!

We have several does that have dropped their fawns but as of today we have still not seen one. There are a few that should be getting close to a week old and that means they will be getting harder to keep hidden.
