Election?

Wow, did you know there was an election coming up? The best thing I can suggest is elect to get out into the tree stand the next two weeks! The Ohio deer season will be hitting a peak this week for the rut. Like the candidates, the weather is still bouncing back and forth but it seems to be moving in a more seasonal direction. The bucks are crazy with the rut right now and you can see them at any time of day.
We have just finished up another special week of hunting with a family theme. Eric Sr. started us off the first evening when he took a beautiful typical buck that scored 177”. The best part was that he was able to share his experience with his father. The next man up was Eric Jr. and he finally closed the deal on a doe (His second deer!) and again was able to be with his father. Grandpa Jim then shared his hunt with Eric Sr. and took a very heavy clean typical trophy buck that scored 181”! Then just to make sure that the men didn’t steal the entire show, Grandma Sherry took a doe on the last morning to share in all of the excitement! It was a busy week but the memories we made will last a lifetime!
