We are rapidly approaching the “Buck Moon” of summer and it is living up to its name! The Native American Indians called the first full moon after the summer solstice the “Buck Moon” because it was closely related to the time when the bucks started to grow their antlers. In reality it is when they could start to see that antler growth from a distance and that is exactly what is happening here at Oak Ridge! Our bucks are looking great and you can easily pick them out at a distance now. It looks like our overall group will be very strong again this year. There are a couple of absolute huge non-typicals but the majority will still be sporting our typical frames.
We are getting ready to send out our second newsletter and if you would like to sign up you can do it thru the “contact us” tab on the website. Fill in your name and email on the left side and you will begin receiving our monthly newsletters.
We have also added our Trophy Pricing Schedule for 2014 to the website for easy access. You can find it through the “Pricing & Fees” tab on the homepage. There is an additional drop down tab “ORWA 2014 Trophy Schedule”. We have been more aggressive on our higher end trophy bucks this year because of the number of great bucks we are seeing.
