Hard Antlers

Almost as if they had received the script our bucks started to show up with hard antlers at the same time as the first football games were being played. We have trail camera photos of at least two bucks that are hard antlered and the rest will continue to fall into place in the next couple of weeks. You should be able to start finding rubs on your last minute scouting trips. The acorns are starting to drop, the evenings are getting cooler every week and we can now see the trophy bucks getting bolder by the day.

We can count the days now until our first visitors arrive and things are really getting heated up here in NE Ohio. The last minute projects are getting completed, the lodge is getting top to bottom cleaning (Sonya’s department), and the final touches are getting done on the stands. Bring on September and deer hunting season in Ohio!
