Time to Hunt!

I think we are finally ready to get our Ohio deer hunting season rolling and the weather has also decided it’s time. Our temps dropped 25 degrees on Saturday and now they are calling for temps in the forties to high sixties starting Thursday. Time for our first hunt!

The NE Ohio trophy bucks are pretty much all hard antlers now and we are starting to see rubs showing up everywhere. The acorns dropped hard during the rain on Saturday and it will not be long until we see the first territorial scrapes showing up. The lower temps combined with the new hard antlers also had the deer all moving and man did I see some great trophy bucks this weekend. Every buck looks different without the velvet and it is time to start estimating the scores. If you like big typical frames then you have to see what we have to offer this year!

Sorry if the photos are a bit out of focus. Hard to hold the camera steady when you are fully zoomed in on the buck. I think you can get the idea.
