Bees?

We finally have some exciting news about the weather in NE Ohio, Hot and Humid! I guess this may be our one week of summer? It has also added an explosion in our bee numbers and new nest are popping up everywhere. I had four new hornet nests this week already and the wasp are doing their best to keep up. Remember to check your stands now so that they are somewhat manageable to spray. If you wait until hunting season they are normally very large and heavily populated increasing your risk for removal and the spray adds unwanted scent to your hunting area.

The added trail cameras finally captured some good photos of a couple of the potential drop tine trophy bucks. They both are showing great main frames and heavy mass. The drop tines normally need to have that mass to keep them protected for the early season sparring. All of our bucks are still growing and the excitement level increases every week as we close in on the Ohio deer hunting season 2015!
