Last Month

Our summer weather has continued to be perfect and it shows that we are quickly headed toward August. The temperatures in NE Ohio have been near perfect with the humidity coming and going with each passing front. With the highs in the eighties it reminds you of the three reasons to live in Ohio: June, July and August!

With the passing of July it also brings us into the last month of antler growth for the season. Our trophy bucks are looking great and you can see some of the antlers already slowing down and turning lighter in color. It will not be long until you will see the velvet get tight and some of the smaller bucks may begin to shed. Our mature bucks are still showing the blackish colored antler tips indicating some growth but they should all be ready in time for the Ohio deer hunting coming in September!
