What an exciting weekend here in NE Ohio. The 2015 NFL Hall of Fame inductions were made in Canton complete with all the trimmings (Parade, ceremony, dinners…) and finished off with the first televised football game of the season! T he weather was perfect and we have started to see small flocks of black birds gathering. As the soybeans begin turning yellow and the corn fields begins to turn brown it will be time to see which ones of our mature bucks will make the 2015 ORWA Hall of Fame!
It is simply amazing to see how much they are still growing every week. Now that the frames are complete and all of the energy can go into adding tine length. What a difference an inch or two per tine can make on the overall look. The younger bucks are pretty close to finished and I am sure will add to the excitement this fall. Watch for the geese to begin moving southward in our skies and hunting season will be upon us quickly!
