With the rain falling on Saturday afternoon, Ted was patiently watching as his great trophy buck was being scored. The numbers started being called out “ 32” inside spread, 47” of mass, beam length…” they just kept coming, and when they were finally tallied he scored 376”! What an impressive buck for sure. He fell short of our Oak Ridge Whitetail Adventure record by less than 3”! He easily made our 300” Club, and his picture now holds a spot next to our other three 300” + bucks. What a way to close out our first week of hunters!
Deer Camp represents many different things to hunters: family, friends, comradery, memories, trophies, stories and much more. All four of our early season hunters took magnificent trophy bucks, and they all four had great stories to share as we gathered in the lodge for our evening dinners together. What an honor it is to be able to share these experiences and stories with so many wonderful hunters.
