Fall Begins!

The calendar indicates the beginning of fall is tomorrow and the weather seems to agree. Our temperatures have been down into the forties overnight and the highs are now in the mid-seventies. What a great time of year to be a hunter!

Our last several days have provided us with plenty of exciting moments, but in the end there were no deer photos to share. We saw several great bucks this week but the situation never presented us with a quality archery shot. It does get your heart pounding when that mature buck is standing fifty yards out for over five minutes! Then the next time you see him, he is eighty yards out headed in the other direction. The ups and downs are what keep us coming back for more hunts!
