Snowy Finish

We started our 2016 off with Jimmy’s great looking 215” trophy muzzle loader buck and an absolutely perfect day. The snow blanket combined with the fifty degree temperature made for very comfortable conditions to sit all day. The deer were also aware of the great conditions and were on the move pretty steady all day. NE Ohio has now returned to more normal with twenties and lake effect snow as we get ready for our next hunters. What a way to finish our hunting season for this year!

The bucks are still holding onto their antlers with only one or two exceptions. The rut is pretty much finished for this year also and the deer are all settling into the winter routines. If you enjoy hunting in the snow, now if the time to join us for that end of the season hunt. We have several great bucks still here and the clock is ticking toward end of 2015/16 season.
