Summer Time!

In another week summer will officially start and that can only mean one thing, the next change will be Hunting Season! The great weather in NE Ohio has been very beneficial to our food plots and it looks like a strong half of our apple trees have apples again this year. The oak trees do not look very promising right now for acorns. We hopefully will have some scattered acorns that are not visible yet as they are harder to see without binoculars. The orchard area around the Condo and other clover plots will probably be heavily hunted early this fall!
The deer are all easier to see right now with their red summer hair and they are moving more during the day because of the bugs. Our fawns continue to be hidden from view but the trail camera pictures show some of them getting older. They will soon be moving at will with the does. The bucks are in mid-season for growth now and it looks like we are going to have some great mature bucks this fall! The trail cameras also show that we should have at least three or four bucks with good drop tines at least until the fighting begins.
