Ohio Deer Season

The Ohio deer season has finally opened and the bottom has fallen out of our temperatures! This morning broke with a cool 45 degrees and the photos have already been flowing! Like the hunters the trophy bucks were also waiting on the break and some lucky hunters were able to close the deal early this season! We are waiting on the arrival of our next hunter here at Oak Ridge and if the temperatures hold for us we should have an interesting few days ahead.

The scrapes are starting to get serious and you can hear the distant antlers as the evening battles heat up. As we get into October the rush for dominance will take over and the opportunities should expand in the hunters favor! This is the time of year that all whitetail deer hunters live for each year!
